Your January results Newsletter went in the mail today!!  It is fun, and there are so many successes!  It will be posted soon, and I will make you aware.  Jerry also has the New BONUS chart updated in his version we use.  It is posted on the site, and I'll send it to you via attachment.

 
In my voice com messages today, I made an educational message on the VALUE of your personal recruiter's 13% commission check!  I want to outline this for you in writing!  I want to remind you that you MUST acknowledge WHAT is not working in your business!  When you 'let yourself off the hook' of not doing $5000 as a BASEMENT (that is the first bonus level) so you leave $500 on the table EVERY time you miss that-- and when you miss your personal recruiting 13% check (on $5000 personal team, that is $650...so together with the first bonus, you left $1150 on the table).   
 
EVEN though there are so many GREAT things happening, YOUR bottom line could be SO much more exciting to YOU!  SO, we HAVE to address LEADING BY EXAMPLE!!!  Girls!!!  Come on and work with me here!  I can't coach you on the really 'good stuff' until we get some VERY foundational habits in consistent place.  Here are the unspoken rules for Successful Directorship.
 
1. Embrace the Company OT/DIQ requirements you have followed during your initial qualifications, and carry them into Directorship. YOU now must hold yourself to the REQUIREMENTS.  The Company assumes that once you have walked through a SUCCESSFUL goal-setting process/qualification, that you were able to dissect WHAT it was that worked by HAVING specific requirements in your qualification.  If you did not, let me remind you of the components that allowed you to achieve and be promoted.
  • Personal Team production of min. $4000  
  • Personal Team Size Requirements 
  • Beginning and ending time frame to start and complete a goal
  • Specific  TOTAL production to hit a goal and earn your promotion
  • Specific growth goal to hit a goal and earn your promotion 
Because they are no longer REQUIRED for you to 'just be a director', your understanding of WHAT components drive a promotion, your personal integrity, discipline, Vision and leadership wisdom NOW determine your promotion.
 
2.  NEVER Miss your 13% check!!  Never! 
  •  As a leader whose personal team needs to be min. 25...on the grow to 40+, to miss 5 team members ordering is revealing...weakness.  Did you recruit too many 'hobby'?  Do you say when they are new, "You don't really ever have to..."  Has your team dwindled to a lower career path status? 
  • As a leader promoting STAR CONSULTANTS, if you aren't ordering min. $600 wh. the message is that you are not selling or that you are embezzling.  Either way, you are not in a position for promotion.  LEADING BY EXAMPLE IS CRITICAL for your promotion.
  • Your integrity is at stake in front of your people!  In the back of your mind, the word hypocrite is looming.  In the back of your mind, you may be thinking, "they can't make any money because I am not".  These defeatist habits produce scarcity thoughts, and NO increase can come from decrease!!! 
3.  NEVER miss $5000 production.  Some directors may be very part time, have little babies, other interests, or a variety of other situations.  I recognize that NOT every director is willing to grow to become a CADILLAC Director or Top Trip Director.  BUT I cannot endorse missing $5000.  It reflects carelessness.
  • Below $5000, no volume bonus.
  • Below $8000, no DIRECTOR CAR.
 
4.  NEVER MISS 3+ Unit qualified Recruits Monthly
  • You have $300 a month to lose
  • You have $1500 a quarter to lose
  • You have $6000 a year to lose
 
 
Let's look at the CASH!!
 
$5000 Unit  wh. 
 
Ithe $5000 Unit production is also all your personal team AND you have min. 5 personals ordering + your own personal $600 wh .+ AND you have 3 new qualified unit recruits (personals).. 
 
 $5000   X   26% = 1300 + $500 volume bonus + $300 Recruiting bonus = $2,100.    IF, all $5000 is NOT your personal and you MISS your 13% check, you only earn $650 (13%  vs. 26% of the $5000) and the $500 UVBonus.  That is $1,150 or a difference or $950, almost $12,000 a year!!!!! 
 
Take it to $10,000 unit wh. with $5000 of that your personal team. 
$10,000 X 13% director check= 1300 + $5000   X 13% personal rec. check = 650 +  $1000 UV bonus (double) + $300 for 3 qualifieds = $3,250!!!!! 
 
NOW, if you do $10,000 Unit wh. BUT miss your 13% rec. check and don't have the 3 qualified unit recruits, that same $10,000 month turns into $2300, a difference of---are you ready, $950!!!! OR    - $12,000 a year! 
 
   BUT, if you did ONLY $10,000 Unit wh. EVERY month   and $5000 was YOUR personal team and you COMMITTED TO THE ACTIVITY OF min. 3 qualifieds for the unit ( to get min. 3 qualified, add  8-10 total  new unit recruits by doing 15+ personal interviews / 30 total Unit Interviews-Guests from Meeting/Debuts that stems  from  your personal sales , Put energy and promotion into getting new recruits their Senior Consultant pins and mastering this as a system and habit), you would earn $41,400 ($3,250 X 12 months = $39,000 PLUS the additional $600 quarterly for the 9 qualified unit recruits so add $600   X   4 = $2400 + $39,000 = $41,400!!! You are also driving the BEAUTIFUL Grand Prix (sticker @ $24k) and Close to OT for your Cadillac because you get $1800 CAR CREDIT for those 3+ personal qualified Team Members each month!    
 
You would be included in GO FOR the GOLD Parties!
You would receive outstanding recognition in Newsletter!
Your Unit  will be wearing a DIRECTOR CAR ribbon at Co. Events!
Your personal Star is in tact from your consistent ordering!
You will be on the National Court of Recruiting..or even could be Queen- with 3 personal qualified a month!
 
The Beat Best sheet outlines some very important benchmark numbers to hit!  Print the  link for BEAT BEST 2004 and highlight these areas with me!  Let's use it as a GOAL SETTING sheet for your FEB. Finish!
 
1.  UNIT SIZE-  Clearly, the goal here is to deal in reality.  Who is coming off, how many are coming on?  Who is debuting out?  What will your growth be when you project your NEW added along with those going off?  It MUST Be increase!  This view gives you DIRECTIONS for the month.  Just as the Co. gave you DIRECTIONS during DIQ, THIS now becomes your DIRECTION sheet.  Can you, WILL you take directions from yourself? 
 
  Can you see the LAST MONTH WE section? 
 
Added ...the # 10 NEW is a suggestion for the lowest # you would want to add! 
Qualified...the # 3 is the strong suggestion in the lowest # you want to qualify!
Interviews... On your Dir. Focus Folder, the interview section has room for 45...and it is divided into 2 sections...Leading by Example (15 ) and Leading with Vision(30).  Clearly the 15 are non-negotiable.  The additional 30 depend on your vision!  If you really want to grow your unit size, doing 30 min. Top Directors focus on min. 4 'events' weekly..Unit Meeting (goal 10+ guests) Brunch or other (10+ guests ) TWO Business Debuts (15+ guests each).  This totals 50 guests weekly X 4 weeks = 200 guests!  If you work it for 1/3...that is 66 who would listen and 1/2 of that = 22 who would recruit.  AND if you get really good, you'll get even more to listen and could recruit 50-75 of those!!!  NUMBERS.
 
When you work each event that you host and lead and weave marketing into each GUEST EVENT (Success meeting/ Model Class/ Food,Fun,Facial, Business Debuts, etc), work on a GROUP CLOSE, {why?  so you aren't chasing people and playing phone tag all week after the event} then you can count GUESTS as Interviews as well as the 1-1 practice interviews you do for your unit!

  • 40 Personal Team Members, and growing...below 25 now? Get critically on it!
  • 3+ qualified Unit Members Monthly- preferably personals
  • $8000+ Personal Team Production This is a 13% check of $1040.  X12 mos. = $12,480.[ you are also in your DIRECTOR CAR JUST from your Personal Team! ]
  • 100 Unit Size...or on the grow to!  When a unit hangs @ 30-40, clearly, the Director stopped working on a unit growth goal.  Her occasional recruiting balances her attrition.
  • 50% of your unit as SENIOR Consultant [ this means you have a plan for NEW CONSULTANTS.  A focus.  A promotion. A Tradition-- " It is a tradition for every new consultant to get her first recruit right away, and I know you'll be no exception!  You probably already know who your first 3 or 4 team  members are.  When you bring 5 the top women in your life whose support for your business is important to you to Monday  Success event, for each of them, I'll have____________-- and for you__________. Who comes to your mind?"  Coach it!
  • 50% of your Seniors in RED JACKETS!!
 
You may not be able to go back and plug this into your existing unit, but you can TRACK it and be ON PURPOSE with the new recruits coming into your unit from this point forward!!!
 
Look at this...
1.  IF you kept your Unit production at min. $10,000 monthly
2. Added 3 qualified Unit Members monthly
3. Earned your 13% personal recruiter Check monthly
 
Look at the BONUS money you would be BRINGING BACK INTO YOUR HOUSE!
1.  $1000 X 12 = $12,000 Unit Volume BONUS money
2.  $6000 yearly Unit Recruiting BONUS MONEY
3.  @$12,000= 13% consultant money that you are NOT taking!
 
THIS IS $30,000 IN BONUS and 13% Recruiter Check MONEY PLUS Director CAR that you are NOT CLAIMINGIt doesn't even take into account your 13% DIRECTOR commission check!!
 
There is NOTHING wrong with you in the way you think there is something wrong with you.  YOU think that you are missing something that the others have...some talent, some charisma, some connection, a different Senior, something...ALL you are missing is a correct daily focus for your Income Producing Activities!!!  IF you would just work the marketing plan for WHERE THE MONEY IS, YOU WOULD BE SOARING!
