Hawaii 2004 Strategy by Pamela Waldrop Shaw, NSD I am so loving your voice com, email and BB messages of 'WHEW, a fresh start!!' attitudes that you are energizing me anew! THANK YOU! Who motivates the motivator? Selfless leaders like YOU! Thank you for giving as well as taking you guys. Yes, I needed you these past 2 days, and your messages of forward - goal- focus in the midst of victory and loss has been a HUGE BLESSING! I am so grateful for EACH OF YOU! Please take the time to read this email in its entirety.Top 3 questions answered. 1. Did we make Inner Circle? No, we were about $2000 commission $ers short. Although NO group victory comes down to 1 month or 1 individual, there were 12 + the Shaw Unit who hit their June 'IC #'. Am I ok? Absolutely yes. And I sincerely THANK those of you who asked, communicated and cared to respond! I could not be prouder of each of you who worked with a goal, focus and worked to the end . . . accountable and in communication. I mean that from the bottom of my heart! That is how we grow! I feel like the year my unit did $800k unit club when the goal was a million....I had MILLION $ consultants...we just needed more and stronger all year long! Well, I have INNER CIRCLE Directors...we need more directors and we all need to be stronger ALL YEAR LONG! We will NAIL IT in 2004! WE will be celebrating EACH and every one of your victories, courts, cars, leaders, offspring, unit clubs, Focus 40, etc...in DALLAS specifically!!!!2. Did Cindy make the Million? No, her incredible unit debuted 3 offspring this year, Cindy is now an EXECUTIVE SENIOR, finished with a unit size of over 150, finished both trips and over $900,000 unit club, a record in our AREA and will be in the top 10? [don't know the #] in Pearl Seminar. Also, Cindy has been nominated as MISS GO GIVE for October 2003 which will be celebrated at NEXT Seminar 2004. She did also complete both Company Courts-- Sales and Recruiting (recruited 5 qualified in the last day) and of course Circle of EXCELLENCE Unit Club.3. Did Nadine finish the trip? YES! Nadine will be taking Jeff to Rome. Nadine finished with 3 offspring and in the personal Court of Sales. She will be awarding the 2003 MISS GO GIVE on stage!So, what do we learn from Victory and Defeat? Because many of you experienced victories and many of you defeat and most of you some of BOTH, it is important to keep it all in perspective. When Mary Kay said, 'IF you shoot for the moon, you'll land among the stars', there is wisdom in understanding that. Along with every win and every LOSS, there is a lesson. I remember being a 'hotshot' Million $ Director--first year 92...First time we were #1, 96...and in 95, God revealed to me the reason that I had not been awarded that #1 spot yet...I wasn't prepared for that level of responsibility until 96. He continues to refine those of us who seek HIM. "IF you seek me, you will find me." JOHN. His preparation is in both winning and losing. What did YOU learn this year? One of the other -- NYC and Bermuda--- next to Rome and then also Paris...but back to the U.S. Luxury Hotels in the US are incredible. INCREDIBLE. If you have watched Lifestyles of the RICH AND FAMOUS, we have stayed in most of those places! So, I KNOW that the Company will spoil you rotten in Hawaii and San Fran! and that you will see that part of the world FIRST CLASS in every way!TRULY, the slate is clean. NO one has production. NO ranking exists. There are NO top 5 SHAW Directors, no TOP 10 . . . IT IS ALL UP FOR GRABS TODAY! Where do you want to play and achieve THIS Seminar year?Let's game plan. 1. SIZE MATTERS. Period. It just does. You can't 'pull' extras from little base. So, your #1 priority is to GRAB onto the TRUTH of your unit SIZE and your regular GROWTH. What size did you begin last year (Check the chart you received at SEMINAR that showed your 20% increase ---the one you fax w/ BEAT BEST monthly. How much larger is your size this July 1?You MUST get an ON THE GROW mentality. Working the BB sheet and the Unit Size Calculator on there is one of the MOST important tasks you can do at the beginning, end, and throughout EACH and EVERY month! A HEAD in the SAND approach to Unit Growth will NOT land you in the Winners Circle! How will you strategize growth? PERSONAL RECRUITING. The BEE. It isn't an option if you want quality, increased commission and the ability to multiply sharp from sharp! NEVER put the growth and quality of your unit [ not to mention your financial stability] in the hands of your unit members who care far less about ALL The goals you set!!! TAKE CHARGE!
So...you HAVE To know and you HAVE to work this pattern :On the grow to _________ by ___________; I'll recruit_____the unit ____ teams___ On the grow to _________ by ___________etc, ETC... 2. KNOW YOUR GOAL FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR. It is truly time to KNOW what you are after! Top 5 in the SHAW AREA w/ Unit Recruiting? Personal Court of Recruiting? QUEEN? Cadillac? Unit Club? TRIP? Million? QUEEN? And know what numbers work the goals!National Court of Sales! $36,000 RETAIL (increased from $32k). Without taking retail ordering bonuses into account, it is an average of $1500 a month wholesale order. Not on profit? Selling $375 a week and investing. ON PROFIT? Selling $750 a week and investing 50%. CONSISTENTLY! National Court of RECRUITING! 2 qualified a month. Consistently recruiting 3,4 a month. GOLD MEDAL/ Double Gold the best plan! Know the mid year reward! PDC--Preferred Director Club members (25+ personal team members) who also have min. 6 qualified SEMINAR 2004 recruits are invited to a reception in the SHAW home prior to Seminar! You DON'T HAVE TO SEE IT from the start. You JUST have to be committed to working your P and P numbers, getting your personal team to 40 strong, moving consultants to SENIOR and RED and promoting CARS and DIRECTORSHIP and working your personal business and moving consultants to SENIOR (did I say that already)? And INCREASING YOUR UNIT SIZE consistently and swiftly.3. KNOW YOUR UNIT PROMOTIONS AND FOCUS from the START! Whatever you do, Embrace GENERATION NEXT (hyperlink) with your consultants so there is continuity in our communication. Allow me to support you with a FOCUS I KNOW works! Ask for that weekly accountability. I'll acknowledge those w/ 15 faces/ 5 marketing plans and $600 wh orders, but I'll recognize those w/ 30+ faces/ 10+ marketing plans/ $1200+ retail/ $600 wholesale and min. 1 new TEAM MEMBER as official GEN Xers!!! Expect MORE from your people! Expect profit! Expect Roll ups!! Expect Guests! They will rise or fall to your level of expectancy! Expect ON TIME accountability. And REWARD the behavior of what you personally WANT MORE of from your people! YOU CAN Design YOUR Team and DESIGN Your UNIT!!!4. Work with TOOLS that work! Audio/ Focus Folders/ Design Books/ NEXT STEP/ Have systems for each step...New SENIOR (what does she listen to, what does she get). New RED JACKET. (What is your celebration? What does she listen to, what does she get). NEW ON TARGET...etc...and CONTINUE THROUGH YOUR NEW OFFSPRING!!!! Don't forget about supporting THEM to their WRITE TRACK, Fab. 50's and HONOR SOCIETY victories (we track in the NEWSLETTER, but YOU stay on it). If your unit is under 100, you need to work personally from a CONSULTANT FOCUS folder AND a DIRECTOR Focus Folder.5. DELEGATED HELP . If you can't keep up, always feel overwhelmed, don't have enough time to 'work your personal business' and are slipping on any of these focuses, can't keep up w/ systems, new people, etc...it is a sign you NEED MORE STEADY HELP ! Period.6. Utilize Voice Com and EMAIL effectively (consistently. daily). Create/ Contribute/ GIVE.7. TRACK your numbers/ REMAIN Accountable! You know by now that I'm not big on Hide and Go seek!! "But Pam, I don't like sending you the sheets or calling you if I don't have anything to talk about!" Don't make me say it! GO CREATE SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT! "But MY UNIT...,." Really don't make me say it!!! Weekly your Platinum and Pink (hyperlink) sheets/ BB sheets! I can tell volumes from those sheets! IF they don't mean anything to you, you are truly HEAD IN THE SAND and in denial, and it will come down to a clock that will beat you. WORKING NUMBERS will make all the difference if you work them monthly!!! In working w/ your BB sheets, your goals are clearly in sight! I will be looking for your FAX on JULY 7-- P and P !!8. When you are tired and discouraged, Power Up , don't give up! Build healthy relationships [S]. I don't know how I would continue to grow without the strength of my GIRLFRIEND[S]. Each of us brings a strength to the table so that when one of us is weak for a minute, day or week in an AREA, the other can lift her UP! This is not pitty up, but POWER UP! You have to want to STAY UP!You must be growing spiritually (LOVE BSF (hyperlink) as a study). You must make time for a DAILY quiet, study and prayer time, and you must choose a healthy lifestyle--food/ exercise/ water/ sleep/ recovery [ hobby]. ( I am constantly challenged) :-) I am here for you! I will match YOUR devotion and sacrifice, your passion and your commitment.
